The way of not ending the A to Z Blogging Challenge, ’cause I wasn’t doing it in the first damned place!

“When is a knot not a knot? Why, when it’s not a knot, of course!” – my best Lewis Carroll impression

If I had been doing the A to Z Blogging challenge, today would be the day for ‘Z’, which would bring me to the end of said challenge. I have in the past, however, had serious difficulties sticking to the challenge, since I am not always entirely sure when my brain will grace me with sufficient intellect to jam two words together. As a result, I have steadfastly refused to participate in activities that require consistent performance… thus my status as “divorced”.

I find myself, now, in a peculiar position, though. I have steadfastly maintained, all month, that I was not participating in the A to Z Challenge, and yet, when I glance back through my past 25 blog entries, I find I have mysteriously managed to touch, in some vague way, upon each letter on its appropriately corresponding day! Shit!

“When people are very damaged, they can often meet the world with a kind of defiance.” – J. K. Rowling

Today is the last opportunity I have to ditch this stupid thing, and not complete the challenge, and by God, I’m going to!

I’m going to stand up, right now, walk away from this keyboard, cruise on over to my bed, lay down and catch some –

Grumpy-Cat_No

… ZZZs…

TIA
